Here's the thing: We specialize in getting drywall to a prime-ready surface — all joints mudded smooth, sanded flat, and primed. That gives you a clean canvas and full choice of finisher. Keeping us out of 'finishes' of any kind saves you a good chunk of money — when you pay a GC for finishes, you're paying 75% for the last 50% of the work. We don't think you 'win' in that scenario.
Sheet installation on walls and ceilings. Proper fastening, fillable gaps at corners, tight seams between sheets.
Joint compound, corner bead, tape. Multiple coats, sanded smooth. Proper feathering for seamless finish.
All seams sanded smooth. Drywall ready for primer. No ridges, no high spots, no tooling marks.
One coat of primer applied to seal the surface. Checked, touched up as needed. Now it's ready for your painter.
We prime. You (or your painter) paint. This is intentional — it keeps the scope clean and gives you full control of color and finish.
Texture, stain, and decorative finishes are a specialty — we'll point you to the right finisher for the job.
We work with good painters in Minneapolis and can point you to a few we trust. Or find your own. Either way, when we hand off primed drywall, you're starting from the same place — a clean, prepared surface ready for paint.
